Anyone who`s given "Buy gold and silver safely" less than 5 stars was either looking for shiny pictures, or searching for "Fools Gold"....Very informative and easy to digest. Truly everything you need to know about buying and selling precious metals without all the inexpensive filler to sift through. Thank You Doug for saving me from all those Financial companys you see advertised on T.V. Sorry Goldline! See ya! Lear Capital and Merit Financial. I`ve talked to them all and they did just what Doug Eberhardt said they would. Try to sell me what they wanted me to buy. This book is as relative today as when it was written. I liked that the information was simple to learn and understand for someone who knows nothing about buying or investing in gold and silver. As I am venturing out in this new territory, I am able to have my eyes and ears open and know what to buy and have an idea of how much to buy. Many thanks to the author for deciding to go against the mainstream grain and give the little man a heads up on real money, not worthless paper money. I give five stars!

Good general lesson on Gold

Easy to understand book. Basically lots of history lessons that help you get a grasp of the "why" to buy gold and silver, and a little bit of "how" to buy it. A small section on silver, should've been a bit longer because that is what most people can afford to buy in larger quantities. I have to give kudos to Doug for being so honest and frank with us; he avoided all that complex mumo jumbo and in fact took plenty of shots at all kinds of scumbag politicians and others who deserved it. He gives some helpful precautions when calling gold salesmen. Overall a good intro book into buying gold and silver, but I now need to buy another more detailed one to really get a full grasp of how to buy.
